18560 rechargeable batteries are the highest volume standard battery used in lighting products. The 18650 battery is a great alternative for products that utilize 2xCR123A disposable batteries. Each 18650 battery also includes pressure relief vents which expel waste gas in the rare case of an internal short circuit preventing an explosion. Fenix’s 18650 batteries have a guaranteed lifespan of 500 charge cycles. This means that the battery will recharge to at least 75% of its original battery capacity 500 times over. Compared to single-use batteries, rechargeable batteries are both cost-efficient and more useful for the consumer, offering extended runtimes and capacity on a single charge.
